ACA Encyclopedia of Counseling
I’m honored to be contributing the 2nd edition of the ACA Encyclopedia of Counseling, authoring the entry on Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders, set for release in April 2027 in celebration of the American Counseling Association’s 75th anniversary.
The ACA Encyclopedia of Counseling is a definitive reference for counseling professionals, providing evidence-based insights across clinical, educational, and applied practice domains. Being invited to contribute reflects both the significance of this work for the field and the ongoing evolution of understanding mental health conditions. My entry will explore the latest research, best practices, and clinical guidance for working with individuals experiencing OCD, with a focus on ethical, inclusive, and neurodiversity-informed approaches.
This opportunity allows me to bring the depth of my clinical experience and systems-informed perspective to a resource that will inform and guide counselors for years to come.
